Columbia University School of the Arts is proud to present the MFA Acting Class of 2022 in their thesis production of DANCE NATION.
The elite Pre-Teen dance squad is preparing for Nationals in Tampa Bay, Florida. Led by Dance Teacher Pat, this group of girls [+ Luke] conspire to dominate nationals, literally and figuratively rehearsing within an inch of their lives. Little do they know they’ll discover not only their love of dance, but who they are as humans.
For the awareness of all audience members with hearing, visual, and all other sensitivities and disabilities, this production will contain bright lighting effects and loud noises. In addition, this production will also contain strong language, graphic/explicit violence, self harm, stage blood, and sexually explicit language and content.
1 hour and 30 minutes (approximately), no intermission.
Anita Abdinezhad, Saby Ramirez, Anne Guadagnino, Damla Coskun, Gillian Abbott, Nate Janis, Stephanie Jeane, Brigitte Thieme-Burdette, and Isaiah Dodo-Williams.
